Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on 8 August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents were dentists as well as a teacher recognized and supported her love of theater and acting as early as she was a child. This overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist thanks to her passion for monkeys. At the age of a young lady rising to the heights of fame was swift and ended with early recognition and success. Following her graduation She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. While she attended in the Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou has stayed away from the Catholic tradition, saying that she's not Catholic. Her acting and modelling careers were intertwined. Tautou was the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is often referred to as the Chanel Muse. Her photography is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work in the Arles festival under the name Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on fame and celebrity and focuses the camera on the journalists who scrutinised her when she exploded in fame and fortune with Amelie as well as a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom as well as international recognition with her debut role as the lead in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie won international acclai film box office successes and received acclaim at awards ceremonies across the globe. It is the top-grossing French film made in America. Following this success Tautou starred in numerous film productions ranging from British dramatics like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche of fiancailles. She then moved to Hollywood through Ron Howard's direction of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
