Melina Kanakaredes plays an American actress who is best recognized for her role as Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. Also, she was praised for her bold television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently working on a movie adaptation of writer Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the team who wrote the movie Immortals. The show she is starring in, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
